I just heard some girl giving a campus tour telling parents that “It’s cold here in the winter, but since it’s a dry cold it doesn’t really SEEM as cold as it actually is.”
Not quite, but good try! That’s what you say about places that have low humidity in the summer, “It’s a dry heat, so it’s not as bad.” However, in Minnesota you WANT it to be wet out because that means it’s snowing and therefore warmer. When it’s a “dry cold,” that means it’s like below zero degrees and way too cold to snow.
But good try! I think the parents bought it :)
