Today I may not have a thing at all, except for just a dream or two. But I’ve got lots of plans for tomorrow, and all my tomorrows belong to you.

Right now it may not seem like spring at all, we’re drifting and the laughs are few. But I’ve got rainbows planned for tomorrow, and all my tomorrows belong to you.

No one knows better than I that luck keeps passing me by, that’s fate. But with you there at my side, I’ll soon be turning the tide, just wait.

As long as I’ve got arms that cling at all, it’s you that I’ll be clinging to.

And all the dreams I dream, beg, or borrow, on some bright tomorrow, they’ll all come true.

And all my bright tomorrows belong
to you.

Frank Sinatra, All My Tomorrows

Filed under this is my favorite Sinatra song and my favorite song to fall asleep to and it just warms my heart in a really lovely way and its just one of my favorite pairings of simple words sinatra

I’m doing really well with some parts of adulthood like feeding myself healthy things at regular intervals and doing laundry on a semi-regular basis and running the dishwasher in a timely fashion. But then I really fall down on things like remembering to empty the trash, cleaning my bathroom sink before it’s permanently the color of my blush powder, and washing my towels and I’m just wondering when y’all think these skills might kick in…..

Filed under adulthood also trimming the shrub at this house that was a thing i forgot

I was driving past a business here in the Houston Heights, when I glimpsed this painted on the side of the building. I recognized that iconic WWII poster before I realized it was not just any woman, but 14 year old Malala Yousafzai, the Pakistani girl who was attacked for wanting an education. The words next to her are her quote, ( “I don’t mind if I have to sit on the floor at school.) All I want is education. And I’m afraid of no one.”

This is gorgeous.
